As of Summer 2001, a $15 million renovation project to all 718 guest rooms, guest corridors, lobby and public areas was completed. Complimentary scheduled transportation is provided to all 4 of Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks, Universal Studios Escape and Sea World Orlando. This resort is nestled on 20 tropical, beautifully landscaped acres and offers more than enough activities to keep you entertained. The prime focal point at the resort is the giant free form pool with cascading waterfalls and a 40 foot water slide. Surrounding the lush area are two outdoor whirlpools, an additional heated pool and a kiddies wading pool. The full service Pool Bar serves tropical drinks pool side. There are two private lighted tennis courts, sand based volleyball, a playground, game room and jogging areas, as well as state-of-the-art exercise equipment and dry sauna in the fitness center.
Each of the newly remodeled family-sized rooms consists of custom crafted Italian furniture and granite/marble bathrooms. Standard room amenities includes a 25" TV, High Speed Internet Access via the television, premium movies on demand, play station video games, 2 data ports, a complimentary safe, hair dryer, mini bar, private voice mail and coffeemaker. Rooms feature either two double beds (sleeps 5 maximum) or one king sized bed.
The Radisson Resort Parkway offers dining at their Cafe in The Court Restaurant which is a local favorite for delicious breakfast and dinner buffets, as well as a full service menu. The 50's themed Parkway Deli & Diner serves old fashion favorites as well as Pizza Hut pizza and Starbucks coffee. The Sports Lounge features a state-of-the-art 11' x 6' TV screen. They also serve delightful cocktails and appetizers.
